Fleet Reserve head visits NAS Whidbey

While touring NAS Whidbey Island’s 168-foot Air Traffic Control Tower on Sept. 3, Thomas J. Snee, National Executive Director of the Fleet Reserve Association  in Alexandria, Va., mets Air Traffic Controller 1st Class Lorenzo Lopez.

Snee was invited to the City of Oak Harbor by Mayor Scott Dudley and was accompanied by Dan Holloway, Gem State Branch 382. While here, the mayor spoke about the strong partnership between the city and base and they also met with the base Command Master Chief Patrick McCollough.

The FRA is a congressionally chartered, non-profit organization that represents the interests of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard communities before the U.S. Congress.
